Brake light goes on?

Before i installed the greddy but after the Injen, i noticed and wasnt really of great concern but the brake light would turn on and then off suddenly while driving. is this a problem?.. this is not the e-brake release light on the middle screen, its located to the left of that.thanks for any replies!

In now way do i want to say its due to the injen intake but shortly after that it started happening and strangly it only happens in certain streets. Like on my way to school right before the freeway on the main street it goes on and then off in a matter of seconds. this doesnt happen on the freeway. i make sure the e-brake is all the way down and nothing. theres times that i even lift the e-brake up just a bit and the release the e-brake sign goes on, so its not that.

I highly doubt its the intake. It wouldn't make sense in the least. Take it to Nissan and ask them. Sounds like you have a shorting switch thats attached to the ebrake handle.

Did you check the brake fluid level? Probably not it but won't hurt to check.

Check your brake fluid. I doubt it would be low, but just for the hell of it.

If it continues, take it to your dealer. Its must be electrical related.

yeah will do.. hope that solves the issue!.. i just find it odd that it goes on only in certain places, almost starting to think it might be magnetic because recently theres been a whole lot of street construction but i doubt that as well. well get it checked out, thanks guys!
