I did something really stupid and used one of the 15a fuses from the blower motor for the heater for the brake lights and then turned on the fan forgetting that I removed one. It blew both the brake lights and fan fuses instantly. I replaced all three fuses. The fan works great, but the brake lights fuse blows the second I touch the brake pedal.

I found the wiring diagram on here, but am a little inept at reading them sometimes. I cant seem to find any connection between the two circuits as to where the shot is. I am going to go and get all new bulbs, a hand full of fuses, and I have a known good switch.

I am new to the Nissan world so I don't know these cars that well at this time. So any guidance is welcomed. I did search just could not find anything close enough to my circumstances.

Have a great day,
Jared

I feel lame, but I found the issue. The blower motor had nothing to do with the fuse blowing. It was just a coincidence that they both blew during the same trip.

While replacing the bulbs I found that the passenger inner tail light housing was burnt. After further inspection founf that the brake light bulb wire came loose and gtounded its self to the metal housing. Thus causing a short to ground applying full rrent/amperage the the circuit. After replacing the bulbs and fusse. The dfusee not blown again.

Have a great day,
Jared
