brake light cuts on and off

ok i got a 1990 240sx with a kade no emissions and recently its been acting weird with the fact that brake light on the dash goin on and off and i hear a relay buzzing constantly, and besides that occasionally the car will start and die then it starts just fine but im not real worried about it just the annoying buzz

Have you tried replacing it? Start with that.

First check the ebrake handle and make sure its not just moving and causing the sensor to trip.

Otherwise, usually a sign of electical issue. Would test the battery and alternator.

yeah i looked under the dash and hood for blown fuses apparently my engine control fuse was blow? how idk but i replaced ill check tomorrow if its blown again i just hope it did that when i popped the alternator fuse (grounded it out when installing a oil pressure gauge) next time ill unplug the battery
