Brake light coming on

2 or 3 times a week, the brake light comes on and stays on for about 15 seconds then goes out. I checked to make sure the parking brake was off, and the brakes seem fine. Any ideas before I bring it to the dealer?

check yr brake fluid level.

I am having the same problem. Mine stays on way longer.

I think there is some sort of cable loose on the hand brake.

I was going to get this fixed at the dealership about a month ago, but i canceled and i am to lazy to make another appointment

Same here. When I was on my way to work in the mornings it would come ON then turn OFF only when I turned the car off then back on at a red light, but it would turn back ON. I checked my brake fluid level and added some. It never happend again.

I would say check your Fluid Level first. It might be a simple fix. Good luck dude.

Mine came on and all my dealer did was tighten up my ebrake and i was good to go. never had a problem since
