Just recently my brake idiot light just came on. It would do this just briefly and then goes off. Now, as of yesterday it stays on longer, I engage tha E-brake and release it and the problem presists. The right front rotor is wrapped so the brake pads is making a grounding noise also on the same side. After the Q is driven for 10 or so minutes the brake light is no problem. Can warped rotors have this effect on dash brake light???

Also who sells Brembo products @ good prices?

Check the alternator and brake fluid level.

Forgot to mention it's a 97 Q45. Just how would the alternator have this affect on the idiot brake light? What would I check(contact points), for what voltage??

Nissan uses the e-brake indicator for a few things including a low fluid indicator for the master cylinder, and as a low voltage indicator. Your voltage at the battery should be a little over 12VDC with the car off, and about 14.4VDC with the car idling.
