About how long does it take on average to change rotors and pads on front and rear

hoist or in your drive way? you have to clean out the calipers and lube everthing properly and adjust the parking brake. id say a few hours in your driveway with no experience. an hour in a shop with a hoist.

Depends on how good you are at doing brake jobs. I think the 300zx has a pretty easy setup compared to some others I've done. I can't comment on how long it took me because I had to rebuild all 4 calipers since they were frozen. I'd say about 1-3 hours depending on how fast you go.
