I just completed a brake job on my 91. I've done many brakes in my day and I must say that this was the easiest one I've ever encountered. Easy mostly due to this forum. Of course I took the experts advice and got OEM pads and hardware from Joe. All four brakes took me approximately 1.5 hours (including checking rotor runout). I want to thank all of you that contribute to this forum. Without the diagrams and articles I would have been frustrated and confused (due to the prior owners shoddy maintenence). Thanks again! Harold

Good for you... nothing builds confidence like success.

I started by successfully changing out the fuel pump on mine (thanks to Tangalora's awesome write-up)... that lead to other projects. You don't sound like a beginner, so I'm sure you'll have no issues at all.

I'll second that. I didn't know jack and was able to dig into the Q's brakes with ease. Also helped that I contributed in taking apart Wes's crimson Q, so I learned how the pieces fit together.

If you really want a learning experience, take apart a Q.
