I'm not sure if this is the correct section but i need some help.. I got some z32 brakes for my car. I took them off a 300zx w/ 160xxx miles. so i took out the hardware and was going to rebuild them before installing them on my car cuz a brake up grade isn't really a upgrade if it is not done right. A boot or two is torn but nothing looks majorly messed up. My question is about the pistons.. they all have quite a bit of rust on them.. when i removed the pad a substancial amount of rusted metal flakes fell out. they seem to be pitted. I don't know if this is typical for brakes this old. All the rebuild kits i see are just seals and clips and you reuse the pistons. i feel like my pistons should be replaced but dont see a kit including them or a place to just buy the pistons. if anyone has advice on what i should do thatd be great, maybe i am making something out of nothing with this rust but i felt like a piston should have a clean machined look.
