Yeah when its metal to metal you probobly are going to have to replace the rotors too, you know just sometimes as a precaution. I think in your case it wont still be the pads because on the 200sx SE-R the pads settle in after install but here for you your rotor having a groove in it will need to be replaced.

Whenever you do brakes you need to resurface the rotor or drum somehow. If you do not you will end up with things like squeeks and squeels. You can try removing the pads and sanding down the rotors, cleaning them with brake cleaner, and reassembling.

If you do decide to change the rotor(which you should have done in the first place) then you will really need to replace the pads again since they will now have grooves in them and will never wear in properly.

Taking off the rotors is a piece of cake. (At least for the 240 it is, I'm not sure about whatever car you're talking about) There should be 2 17mm bolts holding the rotor, loosen those and the rotor should just slide off. For the back, though, the rotor might be stuck to the e-brake hub because of rust. In that case, you would have to thread bolts into the two holes next to the lug studs and pry it off.

Might wanna check on those pads too, to make sure the groove in the rotor didn't eat up the middle of the pad.

Also onec you get them off take the to your local auto parts store and ask were you can get them cut. If they were warped the whole car would jerk everytime you would hit the brakes. It usually takes alot to mess the rotors up.
