hey all
If I buy a bottle of brake fluid and only use half of it do I have to throw it away or can I put the cap back on and use the remaining some time later? I know that brake fluid is hygroscopic but if the container lid is capped tightly is it ok to use it? Is there a way to store it to prevent moisture? Thanks :)

I'd say an opened container of brake fluid has a shelf life of two years. Be sure to tightly cap it and store it in a sealed ziploc bag. I doubt a significant amount of moisture will end up in the fluid from opening it once and closing the lid.
