I only have 3,600 miles on the Altima Coupe and the brake light has been coming on regularly. I poped the hood and the brake fluid appears to be empty. I do not see any evidence of a leak anywhere but I dropped it off at the dealer to find out what is going on. Anyone else having this issue? I will post back what the problem is once I find out.

I am also getting a quote on a Nismo Exhaust

Uhh... yea. I had this when I first got my car. Maybe like a week later, I would see these spots on my driveway and the brake light would come on. I took it into the dealer and they said that the brake line was loose and with the pressure of breaking it finally started leaking.

They tightened everything up and so far... no problems since.

Here is the update...

The brake system checked out OK. There was no leak in the system but the fluid level was low. They said that when these cars are new that the fluid is so clear in the master cylinder that it appears that it is empty but that was not the case. On another note, my front two brakes (not the pads, I think the roters) needed to be replaced for some reason because they were messed up. He did not have any explaination as to why but said that it was under warranty

They were working on the estimiate for the Nismo exhaust but claimed that their policy is to charge list for parts. I laughed and told him if they would install it for $850 or $900 I would do it. He told me that their cost on the parts was $689 (I think I am remembering that correctly).
