did some searching and could not come up with an answer. replaced the check valve on my car but i forget which way it ran. the brake check valve is black on one side and gray on the other. there's a little E with an arrow on the check valve, and currently i have the E with the arrow pointed toward the manifold is that correct? or is E with arrow pointed toward brake booster?

If you can suck air in then thats the side that goes towards the motor.

lol, no **** :p i went ahead and just pulled it out and blew into it (no ****) and made sure the air was flowing out which it did and i had it connected right so for all those who dunno if u have it on right, gray side is suppose to be facing booster and black is toward engine. the E with the arrow should be pointed toward engine.
