I tried to replace the caliper pin boot for the front brakes, and found that the top one has teh rubber boot slid all the way out to the other side, but the lower one has a metal piece with a small hole? So does the lower pin need a boot or not?

Page BR-18 in your FSM shows the relationship of all front caliper components.

The upper and lower boots are different designs.

I don't have the FSM for Q45. Can I download it somewhere?

So what should the lower pin slides on? any sort of sleeve? or just the caliper bracket hole?
