I got the 91 300zx brakes from autozone they are made by sumitomo and i got the brembo rotors from nopi.com this is all going on a 98 240 I am having a problem fitting the caliper over the rotor i measured the rotor and the opening of the caliper brake pads and they were both 1 1/4 inch When i get the caliper on the rotor slightly the top of the brake pads seem to buckle like the fit is to tight then when i try to push the caliper on the rotor it just goes on about 2mm and stops. I dont know if it is to tight of a fit or not put i dont want to force the calipers on the rotor. I am afraid if i do that then there will be to much heat from the brakes dragging. Someone please help with this problem. I also was wondering what is a good brake fluid to go with. DOT 3 or 4. Did nopi send me the wrong rotors or what i tried for about 3 hours to make this fit but i couldnt get it. the rotors that i got also were for a 91 300zx. all help is appreciated

At least i got my clutch on that makes the day a little better

are you sure you didn't get 26mm calipers ('90 NA) and 30mm rotors?

valvoline synpower is a good fluid that is pretty cheap. ATE is a waste of money if you ask me. DOT 4 is DOT 4. DOT 5.1 is over kill for most everyone.

yeah they were 1 3/8 but the rotor was touching the sidewall of the caliper i put 26mm calipers int here and there was about baybe 2-3mm on each side of the caliper side wall and also when i would tighten the caliper the rotor wouldnt move at all so i figured that i autozone gave me the wrong calipers.
