so my master cylinder nearly exploded, all my paint came off. bought a new cylinder as well as a new booster. at the moment i am trying to remove the brake booster. removed the 4 nuts from inside the car, the only thing left is to remove the pin holding the fork from the booster to the pedal. problem is- the lil $h1t wont come out. I managed to take the clip out but I cant seem to push the pin out. its completely stuck. I cant even see up there well enough to see but it feels like the side of the pin that the little clip goes into is flared, like too wide to come back through the hole. so... wat the he11 am i doing wrong???

I'm in the middle of this as well... there is a plastic insert thingy on the end of the pin, making for a whole world of hurt... I'm thinking about burning mine off, finding the engineer that designed this, and kicking him square in the balls.

I ended up kinda cutting/prying mine with a pair of dikes. I then lit it on fire and pissed on the ashes. I don't see why you need it.
