When I first got my 240 like a year ago the brakes worked fine, I emptied all the fluid out of everything sit it sat in my garage for the year while I worked on it. I am finally wrapping the project up and finished my brakes and now by booster has a leak/crack in it right under the master cylinder, it leaks air so the brake pedal doesn't compress, it just stays mushy sort of like a clutch pedal no matter how many times you compress it. I went to my buddies to grab the booster off his parts car and it has a crack in it under the MC exactly like mine so it just leaks air. I am just curious if this is normal to happen to boosters to crack like that when it sits over time without fluid?

Im not that sure but my friends 240 did that too, his sat for around 6 months and it had a crack in it after it sat. so we went a bought a new one and replaced it. i guess if u havent already replaced it, thats what u should do too. im not sure about sure if its normal to happen but it also happend to him too.
