So I have pinpointed my vacuum leak to the brake booster

My car has a vacuum leak and its in my brake booster ...
How do I know this? I hear a leak in the cabin... I tested my clutch booster and thats fine,

At idle, If I continuously pump my brakes my car starts loosing vacuum ( Boost gauge and dropping and bouncing in RPM )

I checked the hoses in the engine bay and none seem to have a leak....

So now I dont know what exactly my next step should be

Is it the brake booster itself going bad or something or is it a hose that is behind the firewall that may be leaking and how can I get to all these things, All help is appreciated :)

Before you go and exchange the booster try disconnecting/plugging its large vacuum supply line and seeing if your original problem/leak is fixed, the noise and behavior you are experiencing is always present in many cars, are there other issues or just what you noticed when doing the not-so-normal brake pumping thingie?

There are no other lines back there in regards to the booster.

Well this is how it goes, My car has a vacuum leak...
and the symptoms of it is ill be driving, and all of a sudden when i touch the gas, nothing happens, like my boost gauge goes from - to 0 but nothing happens, My rpms keep droping and in order to get the car to start going again I have to let the RPMS drop down to idle then put it back in gear and go.....

I decided that problem is a boost/vacuum leak

and I pinpointed the leak to the brake booster and clutch booster

now my car is weird, the clutch booster doesnt connect to the plenum where the recirc hoes goes, It is on a T- connection from the brake booster connectiong

So the brake booster is connected to the plenum where it belongs then theres a T that goes to the break booster and one to the clutch booster, I disconnected the clutch booster side and tested if the leak was still there, and it was. thats how I pinpointed it to the brake booster, along with the odd pedal pumping and idle dying and low vacuum on gauge.

Now if you care to find out more about what im going through, This came first

and then this second

and the post in which we are posting right now is the 3rd pinpoint

Oddly though someone also said it could be my TPS needing adjustment? - Refer to the first link for the more detailed info as to whats happening to me )

ANYWAYS!!!!~ so what you want me to do is basically disconnect the hose from my brake booster and see if the problem still applies?

Remove the hose to the brake booster and plug it good. The brakes will be pretty hard to press, I wouldn't drive it anywhere public. But if it was leaking and you plugged the vacuum line going to it then it should clear up the problem.

Yes, a poorly calibrated TPS will cause rough idle issues, as will a number of other things.
