I remember seeing a crx in a magazine about 5 months ago that had a very small Brake booster. They called it a brake booster delete and I was think how much this would benefit the RB community. Why aren't more people running these in there Rb powered 240's and does anyone have any input??

Seems that there are 2 companies that makes these booster/plate assemblies...

1) Chase Bay
2) Ken's Custom

Im sure most of use with bigger turbo in mind would love a bit more room over there

Well a brake booster is there to make the brakes easy to push with a small distance of pedal movement.

I have no idea how well they would work, but you have to match the master cylinder sizes to your particular setup.

My boss has a tilton dual MC setup with no booster on his FD. Its not the greatest for street work (havn't been on track yet) but its manageable. Hes got it perfectly setup for bigger brakes so it'll be interesting when it does work right. But nothing is better then a boosted setup imo.

We're currently in discussions with Chase Bays on bringing them aboard as a sponsor - I have bought from them in the past, their stuff is awesome.

Well im currently working on my nissan s14 with an RB25det and I bought the wilwood brake booster delete for my car but im still in the painting processe and the engine bay shave but as soon as I finish i will post pictures. I drove a honda civic with the chasebay booster delet kit and it feel bit solid but brake nice and I like how it looks on the engine bay.

i've been trying to get my pedal feel right for a while. with the 17/16" bmc and manual booster, the car felt ok with r33 sumitomo brakes all around. Now I have z33 brembo fronts with the r33/z32 rears and the pedal is too sensitive again, almost back to how it was with the 7/8 bmc.

i think the primary question is whether or not the chase bays solution is good for road racing, or if it is more for show.
