Brake/ABS Indicator Malfunction

I have a 2012 M37x. The car has a strange, intermittent problem. When I accelerate moderately hard, or harder, the brake and ABS indicators on the dash board come on for a few seconds, then go out. Has anybody had this problem? Any ideas as to what might be causing it?

Brake fluid may be low. Check that first.

yup, low brake fluid...Top it off even if it is right in the middle between LO and HI.
