I'm in the market for conversion lines for 300zx front and rear calipers.. but I have a question..

Do you know how these compare to the spl conversion lines? I reckon they're about the same price..

Count me in for sure. I need front and rear 300z conversion lines(for an S13 if it matters).

Please email at [email protected] when funds need to be received. I will try and check this thread though.

I still need to know WHICH STOCK lines you guys are using when you do a 300ZX brake conversion - are you using Z lines or 240 lines? Has to be one or the other...

Thanks y'all! :)

They aren't stock lines. They are specially modified lines made to fit the 240sx with 300zx front calipers.

I am not sure, but I think it is something along the lines of a stock 240sx line with the end fitting being a 300zx one. I'm not sure how this is done though. Either way neither the 300zx stock line nor the 240sx stock line will work.

A few companies, PDM for one, sells them.

Oh btw, are you willing to ship to canada?

I have my lines on order. They are on backorder for the WRX. The place that I ordered it through said they would ship out Stop Tech SS brake lines as a replacement. Anyone have if Stop Tech lines are equal to or better than Goodrich?

this is an ongoing thing right? im interested, but in maybe a month or so. could you also get me some metalmaster ultimates for a 1q45 with those lines and if so, for how much? just got my q45 brakes installed, look HUGE in the stock 15' wheels, regular stopping is hardly changed, but stomping it makes my tires melt

is the 100/set shipped?

I know I can get them for 84 shipped from SPL (http://www.splparts.com)... are yours higher quality?

Also, they offer them with a teflon coating on the line to protect it... do you offer the same coating?

I'm just trying to decide who to go with on the brake lines.

I think the difference in brake lines is SPL's version versus Goodrich. Not sure how the quaility or product differs.

$84 is a good price, I'm not sure who makes those.

All SS aftermarket lines I've seen are coated, I wouldn't be so certain it's "teflon", but that's OK.

I believe SPL makes their own "SPL brake lines".

If I'm not mistaken, NismoFreak used to have some sort of affiliation with them, so he might be able to answer questions about them.
