Can I use normal hose clamps (or like) on braided hose?

no. been there done that and it doesnt work. you need AN style connectors or you will leak, trust me.

Grr... I need a 9/16 hose for my PS reservoir... Something that wont kink!

I have a hose clamp on my braided oil return. No leaking for me. But it is an AN fitting where the hose runs into the oil pan bung. I think it would work for PS fluid. All the hose has now is a clamp right?
