hey guys ive been looking into new seats for awhile and realized how the seats in my miata way about 20-25lbs each are very comfortable, look good and can be gotten for $50-$100. so i was wondering what would be the easiest way to get a bracket for this? is there a way i can mount them straight to the stock 300 brackets if i dont use sliders?? thanks guys.

I would remove both seats from both cars. Take measurements on where the mounting points are for both seats. Get a notepad and a pencil and figure it out. I made brackets for my slides on some eBay seats I picked up which are also very light, inexpensive, good looking, and they came with sliders.

Tools I used to create the brackets include: measuring tape, a pencil, a gold sharpie marker, a good bench vise, a drill, a drill set, a 3" angle grinder, and metal of your choice. I happened to have some 1/16" thick piping from a basketball hoop I had, I used my bench vise to flatten the piping and make bends where needed. Point I'm trying to make here is that, with a few more scratches on your head a light bulb will appear and you can bang out this project by spending very little to no money at all. If you have any questions I'd be glad to help, PM me.
