Brackets for 2008 EX35 Front Bumper Sensors

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi all,

I had a fender bender and broke one of the front bumper parking sensors. I was able to find a replacement for the sensor itself, but it come alone and without the plastic bracket that clicks over the top of it, so that you can seat the thing back in the bumper without the sensor simply falling into the bumper cavity.

Anyone know where I can find the brackets for these sensors so I can complete the repair?? I can't seem to find them anywhere online. Seems like it should be a $5 part.

Thanks!

If you haven't found a bracket already, you could search on ebay. Doing a quick serach on ebay, I found a few oem ones for $22 on ebay. And a few generic ones for cheaper.

Thanks for the reply.

I haven't seen any on eBay that say they fit the front bumper sensors for a 2008 Infiniti EX35. Do you have the exact eBay listing links you saw?

Thanks!

I searched for "Nissan parking sensor bracket". It's the same bracket all around for Nissan/Infiniti.

Get a cable bushing P/N SB 875-10. I got mine from Mouser. It cost 18 cents. After a little modification it will fit exactly and look actually better then original.

Cool thanks! How exactly, though, would I modify them? I'm not really a "car guy", per se, so this isn't obvious to me :).

By the way for other people: searching ebay for "Nissan parking sensor bracket" will give you a variety of different parts, and they are NOT the same for all cars. I made this mistake and wound up buying brackets I can't use that were designed for a Nissan Armada.

Brilliant idea! I was at my wit's end trying to find a worthy bracket. This will work very well, I compared the dimensions of the 875-10 bushing to the original part (from the left side of the car) and the dimensions are almost identical, down to only a few mm difference.

What part did you have to modify for it to fit?

Hi Leosik. Are you talking about this exact one produt? What did you have to do to make it fit?

you gotta trim it up and cut a few portions of it out to make it fit, it's not a big deal. The thing with using that part is that the sensors orientation changes and the point straight vs pointing somewhat up as before. It effects the distance they show a little (in my experience). I opted to go the alibaba way for that reason.

So stupid that infiniti doesnt sell that bracket separate.
