I need some help guys. My front fender has tons of cracks, so im considering buying a bra for my 1991 Q. I just wanted to see how it looked before i bought it. I searched the forums, but all the pics were no longer working. Anyone have a pic of a bra on a first gen Q?

I got lucky and found it for sale on eBay by some guy here locally. However I have since sold it, and the car. I have no idea where to find the bra. I do know it was custom made though...

If you get it repainted, I may have StonGard do a clear bra and mirror nacelle kit for the front end using my G50 as a pattern. I forget the charges, but the pattern was $100 - $150 and the kit was around $265 my cost which reflects a 15% discount.

Don's use fabric ones as the dirt will grind your paint.

I have a half bra (just the hood part) on my 1990. It's covering up a bunch of stone chips. I have a full Colgan bra I could let you have but it only covers the front of the fenders. The bottom part doesn't fit snug since I installed chrome fender mouldings.

I bought a Colgan for my 97' and it flaps in high wind on the hood, sucked big time. I cannot remember the last time I put it on because of that, my colgan on my 300zx was perfect.

The clear bra could cost more than $400??? That's serious money for an old car...

Make that an $56K (in 1995) "old" car.

The pattern is a one time charge.

Just glad it's not a Duesenberg or a Hispano Suiza.

Thanks for the help. I dont think i could see my self spending $400 to fix my fender. I need the full bra that covers the fender and the front part of the hood. There's chips in the paint not because of rocks but "from traveling at speeds of 145 and over

How much do you think a full prep and respray will cost?

Way less than a citation at 145 mph, I am sure!
