 I know businesses do shady deals but trading someone who killed 270 people for 900 million dollars is an insult to the families of those who died.

I'm interested in reading more about this. Apparently, there's some not-so-nice evidence of our own government's involvement.

BTW: didja know BP is the largest provider of fuel to our military? Hmmmm....

Although the UK says BP had no involvment BP says otherwise http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... 1EF4FD.DTL

"BP's statement Thursday repeated earlier acknowledgments that it had promoted the transfer agreement to protect a $900 million offshore oil-and-gas exploration deal off Libya's Mediterranean coast. The British justice minister at the time, Jack Straw, admitted shortly after al-Megrahi was repatriated and freed that the BP deal was a consideration in the government's review of his case."

I feel that that quote is an admission of guilt by BP and a politician using politic speech.

I think I'm more pissed at Scotland for releasing the POS. He should have died in prison.
