BP dispersants 'causing sickness'

Image

TL;DR
- BP has admitted to using at least 1.9 million gallons of widely banned toxic dispersants, which according to chemist Bob Naman, create an even more toxic substance when mixed with crude oil. And dispersed, weathered oil continues to flow ashore daily.
- According to Naman, poly-aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from this toxic mix are making people sick. PAHs contain compounds that have been identified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, and teratogenic.
- Some Symptoms:
"I started to vomit brown, and my pee was brown also," Matsler, a Vietnam veteran who lives in Dauphin Island, said. "I kept that up all day. Then I had a night of sweating and non-stop diarrhea unlike anything I’ve ever experienced." He was also suffering from skin rashes, nausea, and a sore throat. (Because of chemicals in local drinking water)
"We have dolphins that are hemorrhaging. People who work near it are hemorrhaging internally. And that’s what dispersants are supposed to do..."

Neutron star packs two Suns' mass in London-sized space
Image

TL;DR
- The core rotates at 19020rpm or 27388800 per earth day
- The group reports a pulsar mass 1.97 times that of our Sun - significantly greater than the previous precise record of 1.67 solar masses.
- Some scientists had suggested exotic particles such as hyperons, kaon condensates or free quarks could exist deep inside neutron stars. But Dr Demorest and colleagues believe their observations preclude this possibility.

Cops: Woman drove around with body for months
Image

TL;DR
- A 57-year-old California woman who befriended a homeless woman and let her sleep in her and didn't know where to turn when the woman unexpectedly died — so she drove the body around for 10 months along with a box of baking soda to hide the smell
- Officers with the Costa Mesa police found the unidentified body Monday after getting a call about a car partially blocking a driveway
- The partially mummified remains consisted of mostly skin and bones and weighed about 30 pounds, he said. :barf:

A box of baking soda is insufficient to hide THE worst smell known to man. That woman has no nose. Or brain. Or heart... OFF TO OZ WE GO!
