Boxed parking. How does this happen?

In valet parking situations, I suppose ... but not for drivers to deal with in parking lots!

My sister lives in Korea. She mentioned once that this kind of parking is totally normal there, because there's just no space to do it otherwise. It's considered perfectly acceptable and normal to box someone in like that, but the person who does so will generally leave their contact info on the windshield of the boxed-in car so they can let them out if needed.

I did parking lot security for the Sabres games one winter. I've seen it happen a lot. Once the snow covers the lines people guess. There are 2 types of people who cause this, the idiot who parks behind a single car, not noticing there is a snowbank and the ***hole who can't find a space and no longer cares. A lot of people just follow the cars around them. If you look deeper into the photo you will see two rows of cars with both sides open. I'm going to go with idiots in this instance.
