BOV volume adjustable?

couple months ago if I am correct. there was a thread that discussed about which BOV sound better.

I am wondering if you could adjust the loudness.. and does it get annoying when it gets too loud?

btw, My car is N/A. so it dont have BOV. I could only listen to it on some video clips and i think it sounds awesome.

you can reserclate the BOV to make it quite..

the sound and loudness depends on what BOV you get.

do a search on google and you will find a website that has sound clips of different BOV's

also try http://www.howstuffworks.com to fond how BOV works too...

it's a good starting point since you are N/A and want to go turbo

ive got a recirculating bov and that its still loud. i let a friend of mine drive it around the block and i could hear him the entire time

yeah recirculate is nice, i dont like that sound i prefer the sound of a turbo spooling at 50krpm that sound is so much cooler. lots of japanese guys dont even make the bov noise but i can tell that their turbos are loud as !@##

IMO louder BOV is cool. after listened to all these on the video clip. that was a skyline tho

i think the apexi BOV is the only i know of that actually has adjustments for the sound level. this is done by rotating a clip on it which has different sized holes. i guess the diameter of the holes can increase/decrease the loudness of the BOV. it could even change the sound i guess. who knows. i personally will b running the greddy type s.

or yes u can just turn up the boost provided u have the fuel to compensate for it

I still remember that guy that was using an HKS standard wastegate as a blowoff, crazy man.
