bov valve not working. s14 sr20 air intake making noise??

I have a short pipping stacked intercooler setup with an open blitz blow off valve on my s14 sr20 setup. my boost gauge has went out on me. so im waiting on my new one 2 come in the mail. also lets start by saying the engine runs like crap. misfiring, bogging, runnig rich. After warm up when the engine is reved you can hear the boost discharging, but its not from the blow off valve its from the intake itself . almost sounds like the wasegate is open but its not i can look at it and see its closed.

Have you checked to see if a vacuum line has come loose on the manifold?

if your boost gauge went out on you and you removed it, then you need to cap off the hose that ran to it or you'll have a small vacuum leak there. i mean i know there are a few different ways to run a boost gauge and the way mine used to be ran if it came undone it wouldn't harly run :/ just my 2cents lol. i hope all goes well with it.
