I just had a quick question, right now I am running the Greddy kit which uses a straight pipe from the turbo to the TB with no BOV. now I have the intercooler and BOV. I was hoping to install the intercooler this weekend but don't think I will be able to get the BOV flange welded on. Will it be okay for me to run the car with the intercooler and no BOV? I also had a question about setting up the BOV. i know how to run the vacuum line but as far as setting up the spring from soft to hard. should i just hook it up and make passes hitting full boost then letting off and just pull over and adjust the screw that way? I am only running 6psi and it is the Greddy RS BOV.

You can drive without a BOV, but compressor surge does stress the turbo. If you're wondering whether you can drive it simply to get around until you get a BOV, then yes, you can.

cool, to be honest i have watched my boost gauge when I am driving at WOT and then shift and I have never seen my boost go past 6psi, don't hear fluttering pigeons either just the sound the wastegate makes when it pops open.
