I think BOV's sound best when they recycle into the system I have a Greddy setup that way, wouldn't want to be a poser Dodge Neon wannabe dumbass and do BOV drive-by's all day giving cars with BOV's bad reputations.

Blitz is loud so stay away from that! But anytime you recirc a BOV it'll muffle the sound quite a bit... and I personally don't mind the noise when they're set up that way. I enjoy the greddy Type S, Tial, and greddy type R.. they're not extremely loud.

The blitz super sound BOV on my Skyline(not the new one the one with the horn) is as loud as dump truck air brakes. No kidding, I once did dueling psssts with a Hino truck going down the road.

stock bypass valve sounds fking awesome, leave it be.however my hks race2 bov sounds like some one hit a duck at low boost pressures, and it gets worse as the boost gets cranked.......

i just like the standard bov sound, like the apexi twin chamber or greddy type rs. But recirculating is the way to go.

I have the HKS Super Sequential on mine. Pretty decent sound...maybe just a little too loud at full boost, but I like it.

I have found a work around if you really want to run an open BOV, put the MAF on the Cold Pipe just before the intake throttle body... then you can run a BOV on the hot pipe or the cold pipe behind the MAF. Then just run a strait hard pipe intake into the turbo. The computer won’t have such a problem with the fluctuation in intake pressure when you use the turbo line. It won’t do that stalling thing every time your BOV goes off.

Lol, dueling psssts??? That's probably going to be an Olympic sport someday. Like curling. Yeah. They'll cancel basketball since they can't fit it into the schedule and put psssting in instead.

And then there'll be a sport called bwaaaahing, which is what happens when that Civic next to you with the grapefruit shooter exhaust bogs down in 1st gear at 2000 rpm because he lost all of his torque with that exhaust "upgrade."

Japan will pick up another 5 gold medals.

The ARCs I have heard are loud, a little high pitched but not as squeaky as the HKS sequential.

Agreed. Too bad they leak like crazy after 10PSI. I think mine is perma-screwed because of higher boost. If someone could replicate this sound with HKS SSQV functionality, I'd buy it right now...but they'd have to sell a reciruc. kit too

you can modify the stock diverter by crushing the top of it (google 1g dsm bov mod) and filling the bypass hole on the bottom with a screw of some flavour or some epoxy.i did that to my stocker to keep it from leaking boost, worked well.
