I posted a FAQ about that, time to bump so everyone can get back to what this thread is about. Funny how BOV discussions always end up with mention of a certain edible grain...

gsrboy - Like i said not really an attack on you.. and you did have the correct general idea in your reply. It just didnt make sense to me how someone can build a 13second import and not understand the way AF ratios work. comming from an NA background it makes more sense.. sometimes i take that stuff for common knowledge.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't all BOV's are the same except for the sound? It's not like like if you have a bov, you get an extra 20HP.

no problem...I'm not by far claiming to be an expert in either the n/a or fi fields...but I'm willing to ask questions and learn as much as I can.

I am not taking any sides here, but i have to say im ALMOST possative that all of us had to LEARN to get our knowledge...No matter if you gained it on the boards or in a shop. We all had to learn what we now know. So help along the process of teaching the rights things to impressionable new people learning about nissans, and less name-calling bullsh*T.

So if you were chosing between 3 BOV's that provide equal surge protection.. you wouldnt then make a choise based on actualy sound?

*cracks whip* ... Enough of the idiotic ricer comments.

Answer his question if you have a GOOD answer. If not then go troll somewhere else.

Just live with the fact that some people don't want the extra 5% at a 10% cost. Thats why they make more than 1 of most items.

What we'd like to see more of are quality contributions from ANY and all members....Post counts do not matter!

Fibercus, stick around. There's a great deal of info to be found on this forum and in other sections of NICO.
