I know there is a lot of threads on this topic but they don't exactly answer the question(s) I am looking for.

I have a sr20det s13 blacktop w/ a FMIC. Here goes:

1. Which is better, recirc or atmospheric discharge2. which brand has better performance3. which has lower cost to performace "bang for my buck"4. Are there some OEM (nissan, toy, mitsi,or american) bov's that will work 5. Does anyone have one for sale

I guess what I am really looking for is a comparison btween each of the BOVs with there performace, Advantages/disadvantages, pros/cons etc in a listed format. Sorry I still a newbie to all of this.

Thanks

to be honest, you didnt search hard enough... or if you even did.

1. recirc2. atm lots of people are getting SSQV and greddy S or RS3. turbo XS?4. there are some bypass valves that will work, but i wouldn't recommend going over stock boost.5. check for sale forums.

Well I searched on 4 diff forums (Zilvia,GatewayZ,Skidcity)they answer but not exactly the way I need it to. Usually everyone ends up flaming each other. Also on sales forums they are usually sold before i get to them, or I don't get much response from WTB. Plus I thought I would throw that in my question.

all bov's are pretty much the same..just the sound is different..i think i have heard of the greddy type s crappin out after awhile but dont quoute me on that. and i am not sure if turboxs are any good... atmospheric bov you get the bov sound more than you would recirculating it. but recirculating it is actually said to shed a few thousanths of a second off of your qm time..factory bov's from other makes of cars will work..a bov is a universal part you just need the flange that goes with that bov.

Here is another question.

Has anyone had any experiece with generic BOVs?

I have seen ones that "look like" HKS or Greddy. They are inexpensive. $20-60.I am needing something temporary until I can afford the real thing. Since I am on a tight budget and have already ready spent all of it.
