bov question

My friend told me if you put a aftermarket bov on with a stock intercooler, you actually lose a little power? im just curious...

Doubtful. Unless the aftermarket BOV is leaking, then all things should remain essentially the same. Where the BOV's should be making a difference is when it opens. Though it's possible if the stock BOV is leaking, which it sometimes does, an aftermarket unit can sometime add a little power.
