BOV question

hey i just got the HKS SSQV BOV and i bought the hot pipe seperatly and im thinking of which side to put it on im thinking the left side(passanger side) but does it really make a diffrence?????

put it on the driver side (hot pipe) this is where is most commonly for a reason. Search it up abit, u might find some arguments and whatnot.

It makes a very small difference. The only one I know of is that if you aren't venting atmospherically, the recirculated charge on the cold side would be routed back into the unpressurized intake stream slightly lowering intake temp. Not really much of an advantage IMO but I'm sure there are other reasons.

Not necessarily true. That would be true assuming that one has an intercooler efficient enough to cool the compressed air from the turbo more than ambient air temperature. The recirculated air would then enter the compressor side and be heated up once again. Temperature is arbitrary when discussing BOVs.

Putting the BOV closer to the throttle body allows for more response as the built up pressure due to the closed TB is evacuated quicker.
