BOV question - is this good one??

im trying to get my setup going but need to know if the bov im looking at is good for non intercooled and recirculating bov...the link is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo Can you tell me if this will work, im sure if will but i need to know if its the right type for recirculating the air between Maf and Turbo inlet??? THANKS

Also...when im not intercooling my setup, what size pipe should i use from maf to turbo inlet, and from turbo outlet to intake?? THANKS

just by looking at the supra BOV I think it'll work. one side is for air coming in and the other for air going back into the intake. As long as you can fit a hose or tube on the outlet, you can use it as a bypass valve (recirculated BOV). I'm not sure how you would mount it though. And I'd be scared of a $7 BOV. Check out a supra forum to see what people say about the 7mgte (mk3) BOV.As far as piping size, people usually use 2-2.5" hot pipe (turbo to IC) and 2.5" cold pipe (IC to intake). I think 2.5" piping from the turbo to intake would be fine.

thanks..im not running IC yet..and im trying to get a good deal for 8:1 FMU and BOV..got anything or know someone?

sorry man. i aint got nothing...check the buy/sell/trade forums on here. also Ive heard the big DSM forum (i forget, google it!!) has 1st gen BOVs for a decent price. and theres always Ebay.

I'm using 2.5 in. piping, because that's what size the endtanks on my intercooler are. And that's the same size as most endtanks on intercoolers. Any BOV will work, as long as you have the flange/correct piping for it...
