I have a Blitz SS BOV, and its gettin up there is age. I took it apart, cleaned it all out, and lubed it, but it was still sticking and giving me compressor surge, even with the tension screw backed out all the way. Today I took it apart and started cutting coils off the spring until it started sounding, but now it only sounds when I slowly let off the throttle, and for only maybe half of the wind down. If I jump off the throttle it still sticks. I cant figure out wtf is wrong, and before I buy a new one, Id like to see what you guys had to say.

Thanks

The piston inside is wearing and now it doesnt slide inside the housing smooth, its probably getting bound up inside.

Thats what I figured, only thing is its gonna have to wait, I need new tires and some cheap wheels to throw on the back, we found a new local drift spot that is INSANE!!!! I went through a set of tires just tonight, not to mention banged up my FMIC some and popped off an IC pipe one time, which scared the bejesus outta me, never had that feeling before :)

Be on the look out for a good condition BOV with a Blitz flange, preferably new or newer, used just isnt cutting it for me anymore (the one I have now was used, and look where it got me).

Thanks
