fake HKS that came on my CX Racing FMIC kit is taking all the air out of the system..so my car is acting like crap.it struggles going back to the normal rpm's after you step on the gas pedal... anyhows I was told that I need another BOV that can be adjusted since the FAKE-K-S it stays open till it release all the air out, then it closes.

Here are my questions...is there anyway that I can recirculate air back to the system so I dont have to get another BOV, PLUS having my pipping reflanged?

If there's no way to recirculate the air, which BOV you guys recomend me on getting that can be adjusted? I was told that the HKS SSQV series supposely they adjust themselves. Is this truth?

problems that Im having now because of the BOV is that I gotta drive my car really slow because if I step on it then shift gear, there's not gonna be air in the system so car starts shaking,it acelerated slow, and it runs really rich.

What are my options....?????

I would buy the real hks bov! That would save you from getting a new flange plus i would also get the recirculation kits.

i have a very similar problem as you. im running greddy rs (unrecirculated) and my car has the same issue, as soon as my bov opens up it releases air that cannot be account for by my MAF which causes idling issues among other things.

I am in the process of recirulating my bov to solve my problems which are similar to you, but im not sure if your problems are also due to the bov you are running.

my reccomendation is to buy a legit BOV and recirculate. there are a couple very informative threads if you seach up (recirculating BOV) which give the pros/cons to recirculating or running unrecirculated.

good luck, hope everything works out

thanks buddy for the suggestion. I end up buying the Greddy RZ wich you can adjust it and so far is work waaaaayyy better than the FAKE K S lol. Im still having iddling problems but not as bad as it used to. sometimes it stays around 1,400 rpm's or it stays on 1,000 rpm's or a lil lower than that. I adjusted the BOV and is working pretty good so far. I spoke to a guy from EnjukuRacing.com (wasn't Kevin, the other guy which I forgot his name now lol) and he told me that SR20det engines will still have that iddling issue and other issues like running rich etc. when installing any BOV either an adjusted one or any HKS. He said that to stop that issue I needed to re-circulate the air back to the system so I ended up buying the re-circulation kit for my Greddy RZ. Haven't installed yet cuz is running pretty good after I adjusted my BOV...but the iddling issue still there, not as bad as it used to, but at least my car goes to their normal rpm's after stepping onto the gas pedal, and is not turnning off on me like it used to.
