sounds like the SARD R2D2 which is actually kinda cheap. Can't remember where i saw it for sale, maybe signal auto?

Lol, one of my favorite BOVs of all time. Would have bought one if i didnt already have the SSQ. Its a REALLY popular bov in Japan.

haha i've heard it before. Sounds really nice. I'd love to blast mine off at 12-18psi, but there's a small concern of the car not starting =x

Wow its weird to see something like this.. i feel kinda like a net celeb. Hello guys my name on WheelsJamaica.com is Ralliart4 and i am a moderator in the nissan section and thank you for the refference to the site.

Yes it is the SARD R2D2 and it took me a little while and a couple hours of net searching and best motoring/ hot version to get it confirmed. You can get the wavering sound by really cranking it down if you have a stock turbo but i have owned 4 or 5 R2D2's why just because they sound so dang good.. i have sold 3 of them to complete strangers at parking lots where the locals hnag out just by driving in.

I have run this BOV on a stock redtop T25, a s14 T28, a PowerEnterprise 1420 and now on my new car/project with a topmount T3/T4 and after several trial runs and discussions with other R2D2 owners all over the world this is what makes it so great ..... IT GETS LOUDER THE BIGGER TURBO YOU HAVE!! *shocked* It seems that this was designed to work on big turbo cars but still have the street manners and quick response of a smaller application.

Honestly i will never give up on my R2D2.

i have an r2d2 on my pretty much stock SR, and it sounds nothing like that. maybe if you do like highpsi says and crank it all the way down(basically making it barely open, if at all) it might sound like that though. mine sounds like just a big woosh of air, i love it.

I agree, it sounds nothing like that but just a big whoosh of air. I've been trying to track down what bov that is, I've narrowed it down to possibly a turbonetics raptor but still not sure

I want my BOV Louder than "Loud as fkuc". So hopefully an RFL will satisfy me. if not, I'll sell that & get an HKS. Once I'm pushing that Giant PSI I can get an R2D2 cuz I love that fluttering.

I push 20psi and my Greddy RS holds fine. From the videos ive heard of the R2D2, it sounds close to the same.
