bov making me run rich?!?

was just wondering if venintg my bov to the atmosphere would make my ca18 run rich? if so would it be fine running it on the intake side piping?

yes it will.
could also cause stalling when coming to a stop and all other sorts of nasty.
if you have it on intake side it would be worth the time to recirculate it back into the intake after the MAF

i dont use a blow off valve anymore... no point...

yes, it should be vented back into the intake since the maf has already accounted for it, correct me if im wrong.

An atmos. vented bypass valve won't make your car run rich unless it's actually venting to atmosphere.

If the BPV/BOV is working properly and vented to atmos., you'll notice spike in your AFM (rich) when you close the throttle plate and the valve releases intake charge pressure.

It won't make you run rich all the time, just after you've been on boost and let off. As roast said, you'll have a "spike" of a very rich mixture that can cause stumbling/missing out/dying, but it should recover after the throttle has been closed and the mixture settles out.

If you're running a MAFS, the BOV/BPV should be recirculated.
