bov lets off too early?!?!????

Ok. Lets say you are in the middle of a nice slide, and you want to let off of the gas a little to control it. Anyway, my experience with my car is that when doing this, letting off the throttle almost to the point of closed thr., while boosting and smokin terrs etc..., the car seems to "blow off" a little too much or something. If i am in an open space and doing this, and i keep my foot on the thr. right at this low spot, the car will buck while blowing off and then boosting, like on and off. any one else have this happen or have any ideas. tonight i just tried letting off fully and then getting back on it when i was ready. this worked well. :confused: :thinker

ok, so if the valve is really tight, it will chatter a small bit around town/low boosting, high boost it is fine, what to do?.....

What type of BOV do you have?

A recirculated BOV would probably fix your problem ;)

it is greddy type s. when it was recirculated, it was better, but still there. tightening was the key. when removing the lower vacuum hose (the one that recieves the sig from before thr body) the valve was obviosly tight enough with out the extra pressure, and works much better. with the smaller nipple hooked up, the bov opens bigger and flows smoother and more air. but it leaks a bit at partial throttle. i have heard warnings of this before, but ignored them. anyway, i hope the problem doesnt come back.

so if the bov is chattering a little bit after only small boost then switching gears, is this a problem. it sounds like chicachicapssssssssssssssssssssssss. like my typing :)
