i did a boost leak test and found that my bov is leaking bad. it is leaking out of where it should blow off through but while under boost. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to to fix it cheaply. if i need to buy another one i will. it is not a name brand but similar to a type rs bov. any help would be appreiated.

hmm if it's a knock off bov it could really be anything in the blow off valve that could have possibly been formed wrong :gotme
you could try getting a stiffer spring in there
I would just make a block off plate to keep there until i got another one tho

here goes a limb...

was boost applied to the bov source line?

I mean it needs pressure on top of the diaphragm to function.. when my freddy knock off fail I got turbo flutter which equals no or very low venting....
an inner tube is what I use to repair fail diaphragms with..
