Okay, so I will be re-doing all my charge piping in the next two weeks.....I'm currently running an atmospheric Blitz (old school) BOV. The thing is I might end up re-circulating it, but I would like to know if I move my BOV to the cold side what (if any) are the benefits and/or advantages to doing this? I have been told that since my car is a Daily Driver and I'm running a pretty much basic setup (basic laundry list of mods, nuthin' too crazy yet.), that it is not going to make a differance. Anyway, I'm probably going to re-circulate so keep that in mind. So Cold side or Hot side? Oh yeah, Blitz as far as I know doesn't make a recirculating fitting so I will be fabbing my own...

bov on the hot side would be best, if theres no bov to release air from the turbo which will cuase a turbo surge, hence wearing the turbo quickly

Why is it best on the hotside? All S14 SR intercooler kits have the BOV on the cold side... If its on the cold side shouldn't turbo response be better since the BOV isn't releasing all the charge so close to the turbo?
