Hey guys, Im about to start on my CA swap into my 92 240sx but I just wanna make sure I have some things to get it up and running.

heres what i have so far:Ca18detKA ClutchTurboxs BOVNPR FMIC, Need to redo the endtanks so they face sidewaysJGS IC piping kitGreddy DownpipeMotor mountsTiming belt

anything else Im forgetting before I start pulling? Remember this is just to get it up and running

any input welcome

I'd throw in a fuel pump, some exhaust, new plugs, and might as well get a new rear main seal since you are puttin in a new clutch anyway.

Hell yeh.Alot of the WRX guys down here are always returning them.An dcoming in for something else.

It couldn't even hold 3 psi of boost! Now that's a sorry-*** B.O.V. Go get the old school blitz BOV or the greddy TYPE R and stay away from the HKS super sequential "pretty sounding" B.O.V. as well or you'll be sorry!

I would just go blitz. Havent heard of anyone having probs with those at all.

But while im in this thread anyone know bout SARD BOV's?Any good?

Its actually the Turboxs RFL (all silver)..... I saw that somebody else on this board is using one so It shouldnt be but so bad.

anything else? anyone else who did the swap need extra hoses or anything?

I've been replacing all my heater/vaccum/oil hoses today! damn those things are a bi*ch and a half to get off!!! but i've replaced most of them...go to discount auto parts and order afew feet of each size you need...its cheap!

man my turbo XS BOV is freakin huge!! , did you get a clutch yet ?? or a fuel pump!

okay, so we know the HKS SSQV has boost problems, but what about the Racing BOV, the higher-end BOV? does that thing do a good job?
