ok, i'm not really "new" to the site. I've been looking on here for tech info for a while now, but never got around to taking that next step lol..
well until now that is..
BUT ANYWAY.. i'm 19, was a mechanical engineering major, but circumstances put that on hold for a while..
uhh..Nissan head..is that a term? idc lol.. i'm that guy everybody I know calls on to fix their junk lol..

thanks man, i'm trying to keep my mouth shut as I am a noobie around here until I have something good to say lol.. but yeah, I think I have a few pics, but they do the car 0 justice.., she a project right now, clear coat is almost gone head gasket was blown when I got it, AUTO trans slipping, but stong kae under the hood! I got it from a family member who parked it after it almost overheated the first(and last time).. then it was given to me. and I forgot how tedious posting pics on forums can be.. unless there's an easier way..?

also, ka24e-T and 5 speed swap coming soon, I'm in the "collecting parts,doing research,reading up,saving money" stage still.. how soon I get to it depends on my gf's pregnancy test results lol

as for pics, its pretty simple. use some some sort of image hosting sight, like imgur or photobucket. and you can either copy the the link they have for forums/messageboards or you can paste the direct link with image tags around it, like so [img]image%20link[/img].

As she sat before I got her running. did i mention that she has POWER EVERYTHING? and a hud? lol



When I got her she was FULL of my cousins old mail and crap. The starter was on the floor in front of the drivers seat.
My uncle said it was weak and would barely turn the car over. So it took the the starter off of my maxima hoping I could use the brushes, but they were a different
size. oh well,so I took the starter apart, cleaned up the armature and reset the brushes. Put her back together and tested it at advance. they said it was strong.
So I headed back to my grandparents house to put it back on the car.



Its was about 30 degrees outside lol
I hated that day.
Anyways, I was doing all of this on spare weekends when i wasn't at the university or doing a parade
or whatever else kind of crap i was doin lol
I finally got around to getting the head off,
cleanest head I've ever seen from a 89 with 170,xxx miles on it.

Cleaned up the ports a lil

Thanks! Two tones are very beautiful cars, and yes I do! I love these cars. All my "normal" friends hate on my car and call me stupid for spending all my time on it, and then they wonder why I don't respond to their texts anymore i'm working on picking up another job to further fund her progress.

Update, Kinda..

Got a t3/t4 coming to me this weekend, don't know if I should keep it and use it, or sell it..
as for a manifold i'm leaning towards the gladman,
tial bov, 300zx smics, hopefully I can tuck them in the pignose
etc etc.. but I got bored and thought this would look nice..













i'm prob gonna take it off, but I thought i'd looked nice..

Nice I have a soft spot for 2 Tones coupes. Keep it the body stock but restored, purists will love you. I knew a guy who owned a 2 tone with no sunroof and he parks on the street and it got rear ended and totaled by a drunk. Made me sad.

When I first got It I wanted to put a rocket bunny kit on it, I always wondered why I had never seen one before, then I looked up the paint code and found out that was rare. I instantly decided to leave it alone. but the clear coat is leaving this world, and one fender is some weird color idk what it is, I hope there isn't any bondo or i'll have to get another and paint it (the fender) black until I can find a place that can paint her and bring her back to her original glory. the interior is a lil faded, at first I didn't know what to do, but I looked on here and found a thread saying I can use spay die, or get ritz dye and hot water in a spray bottle and use that. we'll see, but yeah lol

ALSO
I get my t3/t4 tomorrow! I decided i'm going to rebuild it before I put it one the car, found a whole bunch of kits, and how to videos and write ups, so I should be good.. I heard that all t3/t4s are the same inside generally, well journal bearing turbos. ebay rebuild kit is like 50-60 shipped.. so we'll see what happens with that.

okay,welp, looks like i'm gonna restore her and keep it simple. kat? probably not, just gonna keep everything stock for now minus the 5 speed swap, and getting her repainted,. that's if I can find a transmission. they are SCARCE around here. and they aren't even in junkyards anymore. I've seen like 2 s13s around here, and the same guy owns both. and 1 s14. soo sad. I used to see them all the time when I was a kid. but yeahhh :/
