Bound boots torn

While I was rotating tires of my 240SX, I found that two bound boots between shock and coil spring were torn. Is this a serious problem? How can I fix it? Thanks.

this is common. you just buy two dust boots from one of our oem part sponsors like pinnacle nissan or from tirerack.com for aftermarket ones.then remove strut(three bolts up top, two at the bottom, and a few misc doo dads). then you have to compress the spring(with special tool), remove top nut, swap boots, and put back together.
