i installed a set of coilovers on my s13 hatch and the ride is just absolutely terrible...its bouncy even if i go over a small bump and over large ones my a** comes off the seat at times..i know coilovers usually have a rougher ride but im sure this is not normal and i need it fixed asap!could it be the preload is wrong? should the height be set the same all the way round? whats the deal and how can i fix this?PLEASE HELP ASAP.....S**t needs to be fixed...Thanks guys!

What brand, new or used, adjustable? We need more info. You need something like Megan, KTS or Stance for decent ride quality. Most of coilovers below those don't ride good.

yea theyre used NEX but basically brand new....i did some research and sure enough they arent the greatest brand out there lol, i fixed the problem a little bit.....they were at the highest setting so i lowered the car a little more so that the springs were actually doing something instead of just being stiff as anything....also had some preload so we lowered that down as well

any other advice would be good, i still gotta do the right rear but couldnt since the locks were barely moving anymore and my hands were numb from the cold.

Okay, just wear rubber gloves when you turn the coilover body. It's easier with those.

unless you have an EG hatch or an integra dont buy NEX coils, you should have bought megans.

if it's too stiff get lower spring rates, if it bounces like a bouncy ball your shocks are blown and your spring rates are too low and or not enough preload
