what up, im new to this forum but not new to 350z's. im looking to buy my first one shortly. i went and looked at one earlier today and when i test drove it, the first thing i noticed was that the rpm gauge was bouncing when i changed gears. i wouldnt think that that is normal. i dont know if it was because of the high release of the clutch and me not used to it or what the problem was. the guy at the dealer said it was because it has a short throw but it wasnt. ive driven z's before and i know what the stock "throw" is on the transmission. any help is appreciated.

Mine does it too but just for a sec when I change gears. Never really bothered me that much so I never looked into it lol.

that happens when you take out the clutch fast and it hits hard....it tries to get back to normal so it bounces but nothing to worry about....

My clutch doesn't release high. My tach doesn't bounce either.. even if its being let out hard. I think the dealer is trying to sell you a Z with a bit of clutch wear...
