Congratulations!! Find a dealer or reputable shop that does BG flushes for the power steering, transmission, brakes, etc.

Enjoy the ride.

yea i dont trust a dealers hourly worker to do the work so ill do it myself i want to know that was done and done the way i want. i worked for a dealerships and as hard as they tried to offer great service there was always one mechanic who did only half the job so he could move on to the next car. so especially with replacing the hose plugs and fluids i want to do it myself. but yes that will be finished tomorow afternoon. then off with the gold pkg yuk

Pretty cool you have a machine to exchange the ATF and PS fluid, and a Consult to activate the ABS unit when you do the brake flush!

It already is, what you want to do is keep it that way.

well you are right it is a wonderful vehicle but i feel that there is more potential for this car. Im not going to make it into the next import tuner cover car but how about those headlights? How do i clear the orange on the tails? Cold air intake? Maybe someone knows a site that can match infinite wood so i can get the clock surround coverd. i saw leds in the overhead lights but havent seen a write up on how. i know im new but i like to have projects and hey i've driven this car 3 times and am in love. So now that i've invested my heart maybe i can invest some energy into it and make it really stand out w/ subtle mods.

Im inspired and excited needing direction.

Put the $3k in an account because over the next 12 months or 12 weeks you will find the things wrong that caused it to be available for sale.

The general methodolgy of this board is to restore to as new OEM condition so one can understand of what the car is capable and then to judiciously add the few performance modifications available.

Otherwise you are just putting lipstick on a beater.

But from this day, you shall move forward with your head up and a better NICO member because of the beaten you just rec'd.

HAHA and that is why i need all of your help.

So anyway first problems solved shocks, struts, brakes, hoses, fluids, all changed today. buffed and waxed looks great cept for the head lights the right one i now see has a nice size crack and the left is hazey. Any ideas how to fix and if i buy replacements anyone have suggestions? maybe something (dare i say it) from japan or maybe we can sneak a hid upgrade in? Also the latches that keep the center console tops locked down are broken front and rear. Should i buy the them from the dealer or is there a better source.

this is a third car garage kept and driven often but wont by any means be a beater. I had a 98 several years ago but i paid to much made to little so i could think about upgrades but i always loved it. Since then i always wished i could get another and last week i decided to. I know what the car is i have turned a wrench once or twice but i also know i dont want my super Q 5 years from now i doubt im goin to drive it at all this winter so i have the luxery of taking my time with the car and setting it up the way i want. Just wish i knew where to shop thats all.

anyway thanx again any help would be great. i see most of you have g50 types maybe the high mileage and old age makes it tuffer to keep up with. either way the extra cash was budgeted and so im sry it must be spent. otherwise i might have to take my wife on vacation or something silly.
