Bought HID conversion kit for 2005 nissan pathfinder se, High beam problem

I bought an HID bi-xenon 9007 conversion kit (single bulb with high and low operations) for the 2005 nissan pathfinder se that i have. I installed it and the high beams goes on instead of the low beams. To solve the high beam problem I took out the fuses from the high beam sockets. Well I have low beams operational and when i use the high beams the lights goes off.

These are my trial and errors:1. I then put back the fuses for the high beams, I turn them on and the high beams goes on instead of the low beams. I even set my headlights to high beams, but still the same glare.

2. I even reinstall and reconnect the kit, still the same glare.

3. I tried inverting the wires (+, -, and white wire) that plugs in the orginal socket for the headlights (factory headlight socket). Still the same.

Currently I have the low beams functioning when i turn on my headlights, but my high beams are not. Do I need to put the positive connecter for the HID kit to the negative connecter of the battery? I would try that but it might damage the kit. If anyone knows please reply. I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I know it's an old post but did you ever resolve this problem? I have an 06 Murano and the 9007 Hi/Low HID kit as well and it seems that it's constantly on high beam whether it's toggled to low or high. Any help would be greatly appreciated if you were able to get it working.

heck Your grounds really well. i have had similar problems and got frustrated beyond belief. and it always just ended up being a bad ground.

sand the paint off the chassis for a ground dont use the battery terminal.

i had to swap positive terminals on the plug for the 9007 harness to the ballast. they didn't bother to tell me they were out of 9007s and replaced them with 9004s. the fogs were no problem, h11s. 6K lows w/ 3K fogs awesome yellow glow under front of vehicle.
